They advertised good deals but still charged us full price after we bowled. We ended up paying 12 dollars extra per person, because we didn't know that we had to specify whether we wanted the deal or not. Meanwhile the vendor was dancing and only half listening to us when it came time to pay. It was as if she knew she was about to screw us over.
I had to change my review because of a bad experience. I came for an unlimited bowling day on July 3rd. I called before hand to make sure I could just come in, and was told yes. When I got in my fiancee and I bowled like 6 games and we went to check out and was told some absurdly high price (like 60 dollars or something). I told the guy the unlimited bowling shouldn't have come out to that much. He said I should have told him that before we bowled and he couldn't change the price or do anything. Mistakes happened and they eventually fixed it.
A lot cheaper than at home. The place is clean, has a ton of bowling balls, and overall is a great bowling alley.
We were there with our family, and have never been treated so badly by the manager, Karen. unbelievable. the owners really need to do something about it or they are going to lose a ton of business. The bartender in the arena bar and grill was also very short and rude with us. If you are working with the public, you should learn how to treat people. The young kid working behind the desk, Aziz, was incredible, if it weren't for him we would have left immediately. A shame that a fun family day had to turn sour because of some rotten workers
EDIT:
Very friendly service and the lanes were in good shape. Slightly dry but for casual bowling it was good. Brought my own shoes and balls so can't comment on the house equipment
TLDR; If you are bowling with some sort of special, make sure you tell the person at the cash register before you bowl so you don't get charged the normal rate.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Their Thursday night deal apparently starts at 9pm, and my friends and I arrived at 8:30 not knowing about the time restrictions. The deal was $5 down, and then $1 for every game and $1 for shoes. Because we didn’t “cash out” at 9, and then re-start our games we were charged full price for every game, and for shoes. Even though our first game ended at 9:05, that and the five other games we played got charged full price. When we went to check out, instead of the $12 a person we were expecting, we got charged $25.50 PER PERSON. The lady at the counter laughed and smirked at our distress, fully aware that she purposefully didn’t warn us about the deal supposedly starting at 9. $25.50 a person on a Thursday night is ridiculous and the employees were completely willing to screw us over knowing full well we came in for the deal. Regardless if we paid full price for the first game, it should’ve switched to the the deal at 9 for the other games we played. Terrible service, for what was supposed to be a fun night out to relax and not focus on schoolwork. Would not recommend to anyone.
