This is that one awesome breakfast place you hope isn't just another greasy spoon. The food is excellent, prepared for both taste and presentation, and at a good value. I had the Eggs & Hash, Biscuits 7 Gravy, a side of Bacon, and Coffee. All were noticeably better than average, and it was the best has I've had at a diner. Coffee is good, but there weren't multiple choices of roast offered. And the venue is stylish.
Small place just outside State College, PA. Jam packed on weekends, plan on a 20 min wait for breakfast, but definitely worth it. Long list of coffee/espresso beverages and teas. Concise, but varied menu. You won't go wrong here. You can park across the street or down the side road if the parking lot is full.
The parking lot is often overflowing for a reason. Amazing feel-good breakfast food! Not greasy like typical diner food. Portions and prices are just right. Will definitely be back to support this small business.
Such a popular place that it's crowded to navigate on two feet, let alone in a wheelchair or with a walker/cane. Accessible parking but during peak hours I would not bring someone with accessibility concerns here. Coffee menu is good, staff is great, really friendly and accommodating. Omelettes are FILLING.
Wonderful place. Great food and exceptional staff. Everyone from the bus boy's to the wait staff and especially the lovely women who runs the place. My girlfriend and I come almost every Sunday for brunch. Sunday there is usually a wait, roughly 20 minutes on average and the menu is smaller. Still very worth the wait. During the week I've never had a wait and I love the other items on the menu during the week and wish I could get them for brunch Sundays. I have yet to find a breakfast place in either State College or my hometown that I enjoy more than the Naked Egg.
