They have a great selection of wines for all type of palats.
A group of us traveled from NJ to see the Penn State/Rutgers game on Saturday. We arrived on Friday afternoon and decided to check out this winery right down the street from where we were staying. I sure glad we did. We ended up staying for hours. They even had a band start playing just before we had to leave. They have a nice selections of wines to to choose from. You get a tasting of up to 5 for free and you can purchase additional tastings for $1. They serve full glasses for $5 and have about 8 premium wines for $8 a glass. We also bought an assortment of cheeses, crackers and salami (all made locally) to enjoy with our wine. Before we left we purchased about 12 bottles to take home. Barb, who took care of us was wonderful. She explained which wines were produced from their local grapes (90 percent) and described each wine and what it was similar to that we might have had elsewhere. What a great way to spend an afternoon or evening. Had we not had other plans we would have stayed to closing. Looking forward to our next trip out.
Fantastic wine and a beautiful atmosphere. They have a really great selection of dry and semi-sweet whites. We visited on a Friday night during the live music and couldn't have asked for a better time!
They are soooooo great. The tables are so sturdy and flat.
The wine is fabulous and the setting is wonderful. It's really a little adventure to get here, driving through a development and then the road opens up to this wonderful farmy feel. Biscuit Jam plays here a lot and they sound amazing both inside and outside. Check it out.
