Great selection of organic produce, grocery items, beer, and wine. They also have great sushi and many other prepared foods that are high quality. Overall, an excellent grocery store that I really wish operated in California!

They have a great selection but the shopping experience is always a little painful.

I love Wegmans, and State College was my first Wegmans experience. The meat is always solid, much better than Walmart and the family pack is priced really well. I've had their hot food bar during the super bowl week and they had some decent wings. The cold cuts are always good. I just wish they had sales more often. Their beer and wine selection is also surprisingly good. I get a create your own six pack every so often for 11.99 and it's a pretty good deal especially when you might not want 6 of the same beers or you just want to collect bottles because you're trying to find a hobby.

I remember the early 70's, as a teen, walking into a Wegmans in upstate NY. I was in awe of that store! The size of the store, the product placement, I had never seen so many different types of food from so many different companies that I had never knew existed! Everything was so fresh from the vegetables to the meat and seafood! I remember wishing we had a store like that where I lived. We do now! And i am still amazed and impressed. Wegmans has more now with their bakery and hot food bars. They just keep out doing themselves!!

The prices on produce at Wegmans compare or beat other super markets in State College by a few cents, but I find the shelves aren't stocked at the appropriate times. For instance; 8:00am-9:00am every morning consistently there is little or no lettuce stocked. I think this also be true of dry goods. Placement of items are odd. The aisles are very small.

It is well known that a nice place to live is in need of a Wegmans. In all seriousness, this is one of the best grocery stroes that you'll find anywhere. Solid selection, reasonable prices, tons of ready to go meal options, robust international grocery section. They tend to run low on stock Mon or Wed in the produce section. Game day prep days are a madhouse, but otherwise a good experience.
