I've been to lots of picnics here, and there are things for kids (and adults) of all ages.
Sunset Park is an amusement park on state college - PA. Huge parking lot and really good for outdoor party or BBQ party

Quite small. But calm and refreshing. Has large sheds to hang out with friends and playground for kids. It's fun to hear chirping of birds and see squirrels and ground hogs jumping around in the morning. Will add pictures on next visit.
