Absolutely beautiful, and an awesome free place to bring kids! They have water play and sand play areas, so be sure to dress accordingly. Lots of morning programs for kids too, like origami and other little crafts. Yoga on Tuesdays, too, which is adorable. One of our favorite places around!
What a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. We were there during a particularly warm weekend in February. Families strolled through the beautiful gardens and played in the central grassy area. This is a great place to visit if you are in State College!

Beautiful gardens with constantly changing seasonal displays. The Children's Garden is a must see for both kids and kids at heart. Bring extra shoes and pants for creek splashing.
A charming natural area to go to relax or to bring children to. It's larger than it initially appears, and my wife and I have spent hours walking around the wild areas near the back.
