Optometrist in State College PA store was too lazy to complete an appropriate, professional, medically responsible eye exam. Pearl Vision corporate refused to take responsibility for its licensed on site contractor. Go elsewhere if you are hoping for appropriate eye prescriptions and corporate responsiveness
I got a really bad experience there. I went there for regular examination and got a few prescriptions. I did not get new lens except last prescription. However, after I got the new glasses, it made me feel uncomfortable. I went back there immediately to have the doctor correct the prescription so that I can have the glass store change a new one for me. Sadly, the manager insisted on charging me $70 dollar for the corrected prescription, which she thought it was a totally new one. How can you find your prescription does not work until getting a new glasses? They even charged me for correcting a improper prescription. I told my experience to the doctor in the glass store and they all thought it made no sense. The experience is so bad that I had decided to change my vision doctor and I will tell all my friends not go there. That is my experience and hope it will help you make a wise choice.

Dr. Blender was impatient, unorganized, and did not seem to care. He sighed when I asked him questions. I was very dissatisfied with the eye exam that he gave me at Pearle Vision in the Nittany Mall.
