The place to go for the perfect fitting sneaker. Very knowledgeable staff!! Friendly and helpful. Sometimes they do emphasize comfort over fashion. I left with a comfortable pair and then realized I didn't love the look.
Great first experience here!! All of the staff here was very friendly and very knowledgeable!! Both my mom and I purchased new shoes today and we left there feeling very satisfied!! The staff takes the time to get to know the customer and gets to know your feet and how you walk and then fits you with multiple shoes until you find the best shoe! When I found my perfect match today it fit like a glove and I was able to walk in them all day around state college and at the end of the night my feet did not hurt at all!! This was a much different experience then we were used to because usually if we purchased shoes we'd go to a store and just try on several shoes without much help from the store employees until we found one that fit!! Anyone who is in the market for new shoes should check this store out. As I said they are very knowledgeable and not just in one brand of shoe but several different brands. Can't say enough great things about rapid transit sports ware and we will definitely be going back in the near future to purchase our next new pair of sneakers!!
I've been coming to rapid transit since I was in high school and everytime I go I always leave satisfied. Terry is one of the funniest and nicest guys in town and him and his team of employees are extremely knowledgeable about everything they have in stock. Amazing selection, reasonable prices. Highly recommended. Plus 10% off if you're a THON volunteer like myself!
