The staff are friendly and helpful. Dr. Ejianreh genuinely cares about his patients and has a great bedside manner. When I go to my appointment it's more like I'm going to see an old friend. I highly recommend Toftrees Family Medecine.
If you are a veteran who Googled this place for directions because you have a VA Disability Compensation Exam here, then call the VA or whatever sub-contractor company referred you here and CANCEL!! Ask for another doctor because your exam results will be in favor of the VA, regardless of how obvious your condition is. My claim was denied because Dr. Ejianreh submitted a false report for my exam. I am currently working with the VES and VA Patient Advocacy Program to have this office removed from the VA's list of qualified healthcare providers who can perform C&P exams. No veteran should have to go through hurdles to get the compensation they deserve from the VA and no veteran should be examined by a doctor who relies on income from VA referrals. You don't bite the hand that feeds you, right?
I can’t speak for those who may see doctor E. for other reasons as I, but this mans knowledge of addiction is absolutely pathetic, and to go along with that his lack of awareness for how maintenance medications work is quite honestly frightening. I don’t know what program a M.D has to complete in order to obtain a license to deal in this realm of problems. Regardless either that program is very abbreviated, or this man isn’t even a doctor. Having gone through my bout, I know my fair share of pharmacology and medical issues that stem from substance abuse. I feel like I’m the teacher and he’s the student when I see him. He blew a gasket on me when I told him vivitrol contains no central nervous system depressant like properties. I showed him a scholarly article proving otherwise and he’s so strong minded he changed the conversation and his tone entirely and acted like he hadn’t just screamed at me for trying to tell him how to do his job. He’s lazy, I was tested for a false positive in which I’m certain of because a substance I’ve never consumed in my life showed up in a urine sample, he said this is strike one, i requested It be sent to a lab, it turns out my antidepressant was what triggered the FP, but I had to figure that out on my own outside of his office, and It was still held against me in future visits. Don’t let him fool you. He constantly tells me the only thing that matters to him is my health, and at times It can seem genuine, but that’s a hard thing to believe coming from a man who suggested I get off the vivitrol shot and onto suboxone when I’d been clean of all partial/full opiate agonists for almost a year. That’s evil. He’s a drug dealer with government protection. If he did his due diligence on each individual circumstance and did everything in his capacity to help, the way any doctor should, I wouldn’t feel this way about him being able to prescribe suboxone. Suboxone can be a miracle drug for some people. It’s all circumstantial. *end rant*
