If you're really looking at reviews of places to eat. Then I don't think you're ready for what this place gives. Good food at a good price. Service is good, portions are good. You'll leave happy and full. There might be a lone to get in though
I can see where the lines can be out the door when the town is in normal mode so do keep that in mind. Parking lot looks like it can get pretty tight as well but no problems on this visit. This is the place for breakfast in SC. Popular, justifiably so and well deserved.
We love the waffle shop and have for decades. It's a State college fixture. The food is great and the service is fast. It runs like a machine on football weekends very efficiently serving mass amounts of customers. They serve breakfast and lunch items and have perfected every item on the menu. It has a hint of Greek with feta cheese being a specialty.
I've eaten at The *Original* Waffle Shop for years. There are two locations - North Atherton and West College - and they are both equally Excellent. I've never had a bad experience. The food is always very good to excellent, and no matter how busy they are, it always arrives faster than you've ever experienced elsewhere. Sounds too good to be true, but it is the reality. If you've never been, go. And don't worry if the line extends out the door. It moves ridiculously fast. Enjoy!
Nice, nice, very nice indeed. Saturday morning stop, place was jumping but we were in our seats in maybe five minutes or so and eating in ten. Generous sized portions done up in fine style. Waitress always checking back but not in a "hurry up and move along" kind of way. Plenty of coffee. And the nice touch? Not only did our waitress check back to see if we needed refills, so did every other waitress who happened to be nearby. That's service.
