Very cool stuff! All of the owners are super nice and knowledgeable! They have tons of hand crafted gift items and even gemstones in now also!

The Barn is the bomb! I can't believe I hadn't written a review before. The premiere place in State College for sustainable living and hobbies. Supplies and ingredients for homebrewing beer? Check. Organic gardening and hydroponics? Check. Community center that offers tons of free classes on all kinds of topics? Check. Beekeeping. Local soaps. Honey. Salsa. Candles. Wine. Jewelry and other great gifts by local artisans. Kombucha. Fresh veggies. Sprouting stuff. The idea is tons of different people use this as a co-op space for all this great stuff, with a classroom area for workshops. The State College Homebrewing Club meets here. I went to a workshop with one of Penn State's bee experts. There's always a ton of new stuff rotating through this gorgeous building. Oh, and the staff are suuuuper friendly too. GO! GO! GO!

The Barn at Lemont is your one-stop shop for living a local, conscious, and sustainable/healthy life! From gardening products, natural bath products,, wine and mead tasting, local meats, cold pressed juice, local organic produce, bee-keeping supplies, canning and brewing supplies, to gifts like sustainable jewelry or succulent terrariums, the list goes on and The Barn is amazing! I have been waiting for a place like this to come along and now it has. They are fostering community and have regular classes where one can learn valuable new skills. As a person who is not able-bodied, I was happy to see a disabled parking space in front of the store. If I know I'll be needing specific soil or gardening supplies however, I just park in their lower lot to allow myself easy access to the downstairs. Thanks to The Barn at Lemont for building community and supporting local farmers, makers, and economies!
