It is so sad what has happened to this practice in last few years. We used to go here religiously because of Dr. Barbara Eddy, who was able to identify novel and effective treatments for difficult cases. They have gotten rid of Dr. Eddy. And now, the current vet belittles the technicians, is condescending to customers, tries to sell expensive and unnecessary treatments. The receptionist staff has also changed and they are no longer competent or pleasant - not a winning combination. (I gave one star, only because I think I had to in order to post.) Avoid this place at all costs.
I'm going elsewhere with my pets.
The once friendly, welcoming atmosphere is now indifferent, & impersonal.

The vets and techs are excellent (we have not used their grooming services). I am esp. keen about Drs. Pollock and Cohen; we were patients of Dr. Eddy for 20 years. These are competent, compassionate health care professionals. I recommend them highly.
This place has severely deteriorated in the past year.
I'm sure their veterinarians are perfectly competent, but communication is terrible up and down the board. I regularly wait ten minutes in the waiting room before anyone even acknowledges me, and the vets never explain their diagnoses or treatment recommendations unless I repeatedly insist. They don't send any kind of reminders of appointments you're supposed to make, and don't give any feedback on the general health of your pet. I will be seeking a new veterinarian, and I can't recommend Mt. Nittany.
New people all the time don't know you and don't seem to care about you or your pet. People are rude and vets keep changing.
Cannot recommend this if you love your pet :(
